Compliance & Ethics Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Connectas Enterprises LLC helps companies do business across the United States, Brazil and Guyana. Working across borders means working with governments, registries and many partners — so integrity is not optional. This policy applies to everyone who works for or on behalf of Connectas.
1. Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption
We never offer, promise, give, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper payments, directly or through others — including “facilitation payments” to speed up registrations, permits or approvals. We comply with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Brazil’s Clean Company Act (Law 12.846/2013) and the anti-corruption laws of Guyana, and with any other law that applies.
2. Government interactions
All dealings with public officials are transparent, documented and made through official channels. Government fees are paid only against official receipts.
3. Gifts and hospitality
Modest gifts and hospitality are acceptable only when they are reasonable, infrequent, transparent and never linked to a decision. Nothing is given to public officials without prior approval.
4. Anti-money laundering and sanctions
We know our clients and partners, check where funds come from on significant transactions, and do not work with sanctioned people, companies or countries. Suspicious activity is reported as the law requires.
5. Conflicts of interest
Anyone with a personal, family or financial interest that could affect a decision must disclose it before acting. Where Connectas and companies related to its owners provide services to the same client, this is disclosed and pricing is fair.
6. Fair competition and honest marketing
We compete on quality. We do not make false claims, and the figures we publish are based on our records or on identified public sources.
7. Confidentiality and data protection
Client information is confidential and protected under our Data Protection Policy. We never share one client’s information with another.
8. Partners and suppliers
We expect lawyers, accountants, agents and suppliers working with us to follow the same standards, and we end relationships that do not.
9. Speaking up
Concerns can be raised in good faith, confidentially, by writing to info@connectasconsulting.com. Nobody will suffer retaliation for reporting a concern in good faith. Every report is reviewed and, where needed, acted upon.
10. Consequences
Breaches of this policy may lead to the end of a working relationship or contract and, where the law requires, reporting to the authorities.
