Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the website connectasconsulting.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by Connectas Enterprises LLC, a Florida limited liability company with offices at 11640 NW 56th Dr 102, Coral Springs, FL 33076, United States (“Connectas”, “we”, “us”).

1. Our services

Connectas provides business consulting and support for companies and individuals doing business between the United States, Brazil and Guyana, including business plans, company registration and structuring coordination, market entry strategy, relocation services, websites, systems and mobile apps, marketing and operational support. Connectas also offers a software platform for relocation and property-management companies as a subscription (the “Platform”).

Where a service requires a licensed professional (for example a lawyer, accountant or tax adviser), Connectas coordinates the work with independent licensed professionals in the relevant country. Connectas does not provide legal, tax or investment advice.

2. Proposals and engagement

Consulting, relocation, website, marketing and development services are provided under a written proposal or statement of work that describes the scope, timeline, price and payment terms. If a proposal conflicts with these Terms, the proposal prevails for that engagement.

3. Platform subscriptions

• Plans and modules. The Platform is sold as a monthly subscription. The Base module is required; other modules are optional. Prices are shown in US dollars before any payment.
• Payment. Subscriptions are charged automatically every month to the customer’s credit or debit card through Stripe. Card details are entered only on Stripe’s pages and never pass through Connectas’ systems.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, the customer is notified and has 7 days to pay. After 7 days, access to the Platform may be paused for all of the customer’s users until payment is made. Data is kept and access returns once payment is received.
• Trials. A free trial may be offered. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged at the end of the trial.
• Cancellation. Modules or the whole plan can be cancelled from inside the Platform or by e-mail with 30 days’ notice, as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• Customer data. Data entered by the customer and its users belongs to the customer. Connectas processes it only to provide the Platform, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
• Acceptable use. Customers may not resell, copy, reverse-engineer or misuse the Platform, or use it for unlawful purposes.

4. Fees and taxes

Prices exclude taxes unless stated. Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties and bank charges. Invoices not paid on time may result in suspension of services.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, the Platform and their content, software, designs and trademarks belong to Connectas or its licensors. Deliverables created for a client (such as a website or business plan) are transferred to the client as set out in the relevant proposal, once paid in full.

6. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation or attempt to access it without authorisation. Content on the Site, including Market Insights articles, is general information based on public sources and may not be up to date. It is not professional advice.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site and the Platform may link to or rely on third-party services (for example Stripe, hosting providers, app stores). Their own terms apply, and Connectas is not responsible for third-party sites or services.

8. Warranties and liability

Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, Connectas is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits or loss of data, and its total liability in connection with any engagement or subscription is limited to the fees paid to Connectas in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version published on the Site, with its date, applies from publication. For active subscriptions, material changes are communicated in advance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Broward County, Florida, have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law of your country provides otherwise.
