Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Connectas Enterprises LLC (“Connectas”, “we”) collects and uses personal data through the website connectasconsulting.com (the “Site”), when we provide our services, and when companies use our Platform.
1. Who is responsible
Connectas Enterprises LLC, 11640 NW 56th Dr 102, Coral Springs, FL 33076, United States, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: info@connectasconsulting.com.
For data that our Platform customers enter about their own staff, clients and assignees, the customer decides how it is used, and Connectas acts as a processor on the customer’s behalf (see section 7).
2. What we collect
- Contact details you send us through the Site’s forms or by e-mail: name, e-mail, phone, company, and your message.
- Client information needed to deliver a service: for example company documents for a registration, or family, housing and school preferences for a relocation.
- Billing information for Platform subscriptions: the company name, billing contact and invoices. Card details are collected and processed only by Stripe; we never see full card numbers.
- Technical data when you visit the Site: IP address, browser, pages visited and the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals (steps at your request).
- To deliver the services you hire (performance of a contract).
- To bill subscriptions and keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To keep the Site and the Platform secure and improve them (legitimate interest).
- To send news or articles only if you ask for them (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the business, under contract and only for that purpose — for example website and cloud hosting, e-mail, Stripe for payments, and accounting.
- Licensed professionals and local partners (lawyers, accountants, real-estate agents, schools, movers) when needed to deliver a service you hired, and only the data they need.
- Authorities, when required by law.
5. International transfers
We work across the United States, Brazil and Guyana, and our providers may store data in other countries. When data is transferred, we use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the laws that apply, including Brazil’s LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) and Guyana’s Data Protection Act 2023.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a project are kept for up to 24 months. Client and billing records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the period required by tax and corporate law (usually 5 to 7 years). Then they are deleted or anonymised.
7. Platform data (customer data)
Data that Platform customers enter (for example about assignees, families, landlords and properties) belongs to the customer. Connectas processes it only on the customer’s instructions, to provide the Platform, under a data processing agreement. Each customer’s data is kept separate from every other customer’s. Requests about that data should be sent to the customer (the relocation or property company); we will help them respond.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Residents of Brazil have the rights in article 18 of the LGPD; residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom have the rights in the GDPR; residents of some U.S. states have rights under state privacy laws. To exercise them, write to info@connectasconsulting.com. We reply within the time set by law. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
9. Security
We use access control by role, encryption in transit, two-step verification for staff, confirmation of e-mail before any account is activated, and logging of access. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as required by law.
10. Children
The Site is not directed at children. Information about children of relocating families is collected only from their parents or employer, to deliver relocation services, and handled with extra care.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
